In the mid-to-late 80s, stars like Natalie Cole, Aretha Franklin, and Al Green scored comeback hits by embracing the era’s synthy sounds, which was a win for them and for us. The artists got to prove they weren’t stuck in the past, and we got to enjoy delicious songs like “Pink Cadillac,” “Who’s Zoomin’ Who,” and the remake of “Put A Little Love In Your Heart” that’s in the movie Scrooged.
