I have been dipping in and out of Weezer’s catalog for almost 30 years. All the way back in the mid-90s, I loved their power pop anthems like “The Sweater Song”, “Say It Ain’t So,” and “Buddy Holly,” and while I kind of forgot about them for a few years, I was happy when the hard-edged irony of “Hashpipe” and the sunny irony of “Beverly Hills” reminded they can be awesome.
